BEVERLY, Mass., June 2, 2004- PC World magazine has honored Groove version 3.0 virtual office software with a 2004 World Class Award for Best Collaboration Tool in the mobile tools category. The magazine announced World Class Award winners in its July 2004 issue (online now and available on newsstands June 15).

Groove secure virtual office software lets teams of people work together over a network as if they are in the same location. Companies, government organizations, and small businesses can support their virtual teams and mobile workers with secure solutions that support intra- and inter-organization information sharing, project work, and business processes. Organizations using Groove software have secured rapid returns on their investments by responding more quickly and decisively to opportunities and challenges, and by more deeply involving partners, suppliers, and customers in key activities.

"We're pleased that PC World, one of the foremost commentators on today's computing scene, fully appreciates the benefits Groove delivers to the increasingly mobile and decentralized workforce," said David Fowler, Groove Networks' senior vice president of marketing and business development. Celebrating its 22nd year, the respected World Class Awards honor the best in computers, hardware, software, and the Internet. Hundreds of products in 67 categories were judged on usability, design, innovation, features, performance, and value.

"The ultimate buyers guide, World Class Awards set the standard for excellence in the high-tech industry," stated Harry McCracken, editor in chief of PC World.
